Get Started

STEP 1 — Obtain a WA DOL Permit Number

  • Washington Drivers: You will need to PRE-APPLY HERE for a WDL# with the State of Washington for your student. This is a number, not a permit or license, we use it to submit a driving school waiver for your student after orientation.
  • Your emailed registration confirmation will supply orientation and permit information.
  • If you already have a PERMIT/WA ID# for your student use that number.
  • The WA PERMIT is typically written as: WDL#####.

STEP 2 — Register for one of our locations

You will be charged a deposit of $100 at checkout to reserve the course. The remaining course tuition will be due at the Parent Orientation Meeting.

AC Driving School offers Washington-recognized driver education courses to the Southeast Washington area. These courses fulfill Washington requirements for licensing.

Parent Orientation — the course starts with an orientation to the requirements of the course. Please, only one parent/representative may attend the meeting due to space limitations. The teen driver does not come to this orientation.
